Business Developer

You build new client relationships from scratch and close deals. 80% hunter, 20% farmer — with direct guidance from experienced sales people.

What will you do?

As Business Developer you are the engine behind our commercial growth. You identify new opportunities, build relationships and turn prospects into satisfied clients.

  • Build new clients through active prospecting and business development
  • Create and develop opportunities from scratch
  • Conduct commercial conversations and draw up proposals
  • Effectively close deals — 80% hunter, 20% farmer

Who are you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial role with a proven track record of winning new clients
  • Comfortable approaching new prospects and cold prospecting
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong focus on results
  • Commercial insight and the ability to quickly spot opportunities
  • At ease making new contacts and building relationships
  • Dutch-speaking (must)
Plus: experience in IT sales Plus: Exact Online Plus: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

How much IT knowledge is required?

IT sales experience is a plus, not a requirement. Candidates with IT experience often grasp the context faster, but it's not decisive. The focus is on sales: prospecting, relationship building and winning new clients. Technical knowledge can be learned on the job.
